1973 - 87 Ford Short Bed Flareside Rear Cross Sill

The rear cross sill is located below the tailgate. It ties the back of the bed together by being bolted crosswise from one bed side to the other. This rear sill is made for 6 strips and 7 boards. The bed-to-frame bolt passes through holes in the top surface which supports the wood boards. Cut-out areas on the rear face provide clearance for the bumper brackets. All holes are punched and small brackets and braces are welded as original. Wood blocks placed inside the rear sill are sold separately.
